From July 4 to 5, an academic symposium focused on building "new quality productive forces" in the fruit industry for the 15th Five-Year Plan period was held in Xingcheng, Liaoning Province. Concurrent events included the leadership transition meeting of the Fruit Tree Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, the editorial board meeting for *China Fruit Trees*, and the academic committee meeting for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs' Key Laboratory for the Utilization of Horticultural Crop Germplasm Resources. Drawing on his extensive expertise and practical achievements in agricultural intelligent technology, General Manager Zhang Peng was elected to these significant positions during the series of meetings.
